Creative studio founder, stationery hoarder, photographer of real-life magic, and mama to one beautiful girl and one very good dog.

The Studio

Hi, I’m Sharana - curator of beautiful chaos and builder of bold, joyful things. Studio Sunny Side Up is my creative playground, shaped by 16 years of experience helping brands tell their stories and my deep love for design, words, and meaningful connection.

Over the years, I’ve worked with brands like The Label Life, Tattle Tale, Nua, Born Good, Mann Talks, and Coro - collaborations that taught me how powerful thoughtful communication can be.

This studio is where all my creative lives collide; a home for stationery, photography, and strategy, each rooted in something I’ve lived, learned, or loved. It might look like a slightly random mix (and you’re not wrong), but every part of it is built with heart and intention - no filler, no fluff.

Why I Built This Studio

The idea for Sunny Side Up came to me in the thick of postpartum - somewhere between sterilising bottles and wondering who allowed me to become someone’s MOM? I was craving something that felt like me again - something creative and energising, with room for all the things I care about.

I’d spent years helping brands tell their stories, and I wanted to build something of my own - a studio that brought together everything I love: thoughtful design, honest storytelling, and the kind of work that makes people feel something.

Sunny Side Up is built to do just that - to help you make beautiful, useful things that bring a little more light into the everyday.

It’s optimism - on purpose.

How I Work

Whether I’m helping you pick the perfect paper texture, capturing beautiful family moment, or building a content strategy that makes your audience feel seen - I bring care, clarity, and a strong cup of coffee to every step.

I only take on a handful of strategy projects at a time because I want to work with brands I believe in - the kind I’d buy from myself before asking anyone else to. I’m especially drawn to people doing honest, impactful work with a little magic around the edges.

The Sunny (and Slightly Sleep-Deprived) Side of Things

These days, I’m growing this studio alongside real life: raising a tiny human, keeping my dog out of the Sunny Side Up packaging, and remembering to close my laptop every now and then. Life is full but it’s bursting with purpose, colour, and a lot of to-do lists. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
